Secondary Education

Students pursuing a degree in secondary education must also select a content area of study and take all of the courses required to meet the Alabama State Department of Education requirements in order to be recommended for teacher licensure. Approved content areas are English, French, German, Mathematics, Social Studies, or Spanish. Students also have the option of pursuing a second degree or second major in their chosen content area.
