Dental Hygiene

Prepares you for licensure as a dental hygienist so you may provide quality oral health care to the public. This limited-access program (88 credit hours; 66 following completion of 22 credit hours of prerequisites) prepares you to master competencies such as patient assessment, dental hygiene instrumentation, direct patient care, diagnostic radiographs, and infection control, and to sit for the National and Florida State examinations.
