English and Creative Writing (B.F.A.)

The major prepares students to enjoy the art and craft of imaginative writing as a fulfilling vocation or avocation through a rich exposure to the genres of poetry, fiction, drama, and narrative nonfiction. Students pursuing the B.F.A. degree follow a concentration in Creative Writing, producing a significant, original manuscript of creative work that reflects a personal theory of writing.
