Medium/Heavy Truck Technician

The Medium/Heavy Truck Technician Program is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed for an entrylevel technician position in the trucking industry. Students perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on medium/heavy duty trucks and tractor/trailer vehicles in this program. Students develop and practice their skills in a well-equipped shop and study challenging areas, such as truck computers, diesel engines, electrical systems, suspension, air-brakes, and power-train.
