Welding/Fabrication

The Welding Program provides both practical and theoretical knowledge for qualified welding technicians. The specific subjects include: Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Brazing, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Cutting Processes-fuel gas and plasma, Metallurgy, Fabrication and Equipment, Automated Machining, CADD Drafting, Blueprint Reading and Math. Safety procedures are also an important part of each welding process.
