Dental Hygiene

Dental hygienists are the only member of the dental health team licensed to provide direct care to the patient, other than the dentist. The dental hygienist works under the supervision of the dentist by performing duties delegated by the dentist in accordance with the Missouri Dental Practice Act. They work directly with patients to help them care for their oral health.
