Chemistry

The mission of the Chemistry and Physics Department is to promote scientific, critical thinking and problem solving so that students can make logical and reasoned decisions regarding natural phenomena as they enter basic science or health-science-related fields. Students who want to major in chemistry can complete the requirements for a bachelor's degree in chemistry in residence with close advisement from chemistry faculty. The Chemistry major requires 54 credits.
