Philosophy

The Philosophy Department introduces students to the basic concepts of philosophy and approaches to philosophic inquiry, from classical times to the modern period. The Philosophy major serves as excellent preparation for careers in law, journalism, public life, public relations, and any profession where the ability to think clearly is of special importance. The Philosophy major requires 30 credits.
