Computer science at Union combines theoretical and practical approaches within an interdisciplinary environment designed to foster creative problem-solving. Professors actively engage with students through classes, advising and senior projects, while many students collaborate on faculty research throughout the year. Faculty research interests include algorithms, artificial intelligence, computational complexity, internet security, natural language processing and social robotics.
