Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering applies principles of mechanics, the study of heat and energy, material behavior, and design to create products and systems. After fundamental courses, students concentrate in one of three areas: energy and propulsion, structures and materials, or nuclear energy, culminating in a capstone design experience.
