Master of Science in Dentistry

Advanced clinical specialty training and research, leading to the degree of Master of Science in Dentistry, is offered to meet two areas of need: the preparation of qualified teachers and investigators in the various branches of academic dentistry and the preparation of fully trained dental specialists. The program is a combination of the conventional work for the M.S. degree plus the achievement of proficiency in some phase of clinical dentistry.
