History (BA)

The BA in History is designed to have students learn to investigate questions about the past rigorously and critically. They identify strong sources, critically assess information, analyze disparate threads of information, weigh different interpretations, and identify and explain trends and patterns. The program provides grounding in our national past and patterns alongside world and regional histories that provide transnational and cosmopolitan perspectives.
