Materials Science (PhD)

The PhD in Materials Science - Engineering track is part of a program offered jointly by the three University of Alabama system campuses. In this program, faculty members from various departments on each campus constitute the materials science faculty. Students pursue topics related to the science of materials, placing special emphasis on materials processing, the production of new materials, and on the application of materials to the needs of technology.
