Most MA students will select Plan B, which requires the student to complete 30 credit hours of courses in the Department of Mathematics numbered 400-699, subject to the following conditions: at least nine credit hours must come from (at most one of MATH 601 or MATH 602), MATH 611, MATH 621, and MATH 631; and at least six credits must come from MATH 603 or MATH 607, MATH 625, MATH 644, MATH 654 or MATH 655 or MATH 657, and MATH 661.
