The Chemistry Department offers two degree options. The BS is a more rigorous course of study designed for students wishing to continue their study of chemistry at the graduate level. Students who intend to major in chemistry and students who intend to prepare for medical, dental, veterinary, or pharmacy school are urged to select Fundamentals of Chemistry their first year.
