Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering master of science (MS) degree balances education in engineering fundamentals and design. The degree prepares students for careers in industry as well as for continued studies at the doctoral level. The degree offers students the opportunity to focus on one of the following areas of engineering: environmental (e.g., pollutant fate and transport, process modeling, soil and groundwater remediation, water and wastewater treatment), geomechanics (e.g.
