The Environment, Ecology, and Energy Program offers the master of arts in ecology, a multidisciplinary degree that fosters understanding of ecological systems and demonstrates the value of ecological approaches to current and future environmental problems. Requirements for the master of arts are the same as those for the master of science, except that a master of arts paper (ENEC 992) is prepared in place of a master's thesis.
