Medical Assistant Technology

Medical office personnel with business backgrounds have many opportunities. The program prepares medical assistants who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession. Students must undergo a criminal background check and provide proof of certain required immunizations prior to entering the externship phase.
