Chemistry

Research programs leading to the Chemistry Doctor of Philosophy degree are offered in the areas of analytical, biological, inorganic, materials, organic, and physical chemistry and in chemical physics. All graduate students are encouraged to select a research director and to begin their thesis research no later than the end of the second semester in residence.
