Computer Aided Design for Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing

This certificate program covers manufacturing systems utilized in the additive and subtractive manufacturing fields. Students gain hands-on experience developing CAM programs for Haas CNC machines, rapid prototyping via 3D printing systems, and reverse engineering through 3D scanning using tools such as Catia, Geomagic and SolidWorks. Students finish with a strong foundation in real world computer aided design problem solving skills and fabrication techniques.
