Classical Studies

Classical Studies at Villanova University is concerned with the languages, literatures, thought, and culture of the Greco-Roman world from Homer in the eighth century B.C.E. to St. Augustine in the fifth century C.E. The MA offers three possible tracks (Greek/Latin, Latin, or Classical Culture), available either on campus or online, and requires a research portfolio and comprehensive examinations.
