French and Francophone Studies

The French and Francophone Studies Program emphasizes language skills and offers interdisciplinary studies in French literature and cinema, the cultures and literatures of the Francophone world, and stylistics and translation. The curriculum provides students with a thorough grounding in the literatures, history, politics, cultural production, and development of Francophone countries.
