The Doctor of Nursing Practice prepares graduates to practice in an expanded, specialized, and/or advanced nursing role, to advocate for quality outcomes for individuals, families, populations, and systems, and to demonstrate ethical leadership and faithful service in their chosen roles and settings. Students conduct a scholarly DNP project over two or more semesters, engaging in independent research and evidence-based inquiry in a defined area of significance to the advanced nursing role.
