Accounting (B.S.)

The Accounting major combines hands on experience with theoretical instruction and equips students for careers in accounting. It also serves as the first step toward CPA or CMA certification. The program concentrates on generally accepted accounting practices and principles, federal tax laws as they relate to individuals and organizations, the importance of accounting controls, and the function of auditing.
