Phlebotomy Technician

The Phlebotomy Technician Short-Term Certificate program introduces students to the chief responsibilities of the position to include drawing blood and conducting other specimen collections. The phlebotomist must recognize any conditions that might alter collections, correlate types of lab tests to the written diagnosis, and communicate with both the laboratory and the patients to provide the best care possible.
