Interdisciplinary Studies

The Interdisciplinary Studies major is designed to provide the maximum flexibility for the student in determining the content of his or her degree program. This major is constructed by the student and advisor. Interdisciplinary Studies majors are not necessarily professionally-oriented or career-oriented degree programs. However, a program must emphasize a clearly defined area, body of thought, or educational goal.
