Leadership Studies

The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership Studies is an innovative online program aligned with WVSU's mission, vision, and core values. Designed for working adults and delivered in a two-year cohort model, it emphasizes fairness, diversity, and social justice consistent with the institution's HBCU heritage. Students conduct their own field-based inquiries, culminating in an action-research based dissertation to enhance organizational practice and effect change.
