Public History

The M.A. in Public History prepares students to work as expert researchers, writers, and interpreters of history in the public sector. The program develops professional skills in museums, historic preservation, archives, administrative leadership, cultural resources management, grant writing, oral history, digital history, or contract work. It complements the Department of History's core areas of strength in comparative and transnational history.
