Special Education

This program is designed to extend the skills and knowledge of teachers who wish to work with children and adults with disabilities in school and community settings. It emphasizes academic, functional and social-behavioral needs of the individual rather than disability categories, and prepares teachers to work in inclusive classroom settings, resource rooms, life-skills classrooms and community settings.
