Nursing

The nurse is viewed as a caring holistic person who possesses critical thinking/problem solving skills, integrity, accountability, a theoretical knowledge base, refined psychomotor skills, and a commitment to life-long learning. Program graduates receive an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree. Graduates are then eligible to apply and take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
