The Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) is the only degree offered by the School of Art, conferred upon recommendation of the faculty after successful completion of all course work in residence and a faculty-approved thesis presentation. The School offers professional instruction in four interrelated areas of study: graphic design, painting/printmaking, photography, and sculpture. Course work for the degree carries a minimum of sixty credits, with the minimum residence requirement being two years.
