Early Modern Studies

Our program supports a cohort of graduate students pursuing an innovative combined Ph.D. degree with affiliate departments across campus. We sponsor conferences and lectures by outside scholars, as well as events highlighting the projects and publications of our faculty and curators. We promote a plural approach to studying early modernity in its varying manifestations at different times and places around the globe.
