Master of Musical Arts - Orchestral Conducting

The orchestral conducting program offers an opportunity for one young conductor to serve as an assistant to Principal Conductor Peter Oundjian and guest conductors, which involves preparing the Yale Philharmonia, in two full rehearsals, for each concert program. Additionally, the student has the opportunity to conduct two Yale Philharmonia programs. The performance-oriented master of musical arts (M.M.A.) program is designed for students who want to further their education beyond an M.M. degree.
